"Students, Help give Pakistani Americans and Pakistan a voice in the U.S. Congress!"

The Pakistani American Leadership Center was formed in May 2004 to fill an important void in the Pakistani American community: representation of Pakistani Americans and Pakistan on the Hill in Washington DC. PAL-C thus was initiated with a vision of building ties with the U.S. Congress through educating and mobilizing the Pakistani-American community at large.

The Congressional Pakistan Caucus was created with PAL-C's help, and in the summer of 2004 PAL-C was responsible for facilitating 60 Members of Congress to join the Caucus.  This is a feat achieved by few minorities in the history of the United States.

PAL-C is currently looking for 10-15 passionate, intellgent, and concerned students from PSA that would like to begin their involvement with PAL-C. PAL-C urges PSA members to take the amazing opportunity to become interns with PAL-C in L.A. and D.C. We encourage all of you to join www.pal-c.org

If interested and/or if you have questions, please contact Ali Chaudhry, Executive Director PAL-C at ali.chaudhry82@gmail.com

For more information about PAL-C, please visit www.pal-c.org
